Sign up to the Union and join the strike to defend your pension.
It only takes a few minutes to join our more than 1,100 members in Cambridge. We represent a huge range of people from academics, academic-related and support staff to managers, computer staff, librarians and postgraduate students. As a branch, we are bigger and stronger than we have ever been, and with your support we will win this dispute.
Joining UCU will enable you to join the strike as soon as you have signed up (see our FAQs). If you would like to support the strike further, sign up to join our picket lines or volunteer to give a teach-out lecture and other help by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Benefits of joining
Beyond the industrial action, membership will also give you access to a national and local academic network, professional legal advice, local representation at work and an extensive professional development programme. See the UCU’s FAQs .
